Dave Schmidt has directed content for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Mercedes Benz, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, and Nike.

His skills as a “preditor” (Dave produces, shoots, and edits, in addition to directing, when the project requires) have been recognized internationally. In 2012 Dave’s film, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, about how an Afghani family looking for freedom became “boat people,” won Best Documentary at the European Independent Film Festival. A short film he made about 80,000 displaced Somali refugees in Raaso, Ethiopia raised enough money to build a hospital outpost and employ 4 nurses in the area.

Dave has directed more than 20 episodes of lifestyle TV, in addition to his documentary and brand work.
